What the product does

Outbound
Every paid plan makes user‑directed calls
ClawCall dials English-language US +1 destinations, navigates phone trees, waits on hold, speaks with the person who answers, and can leave a concise voicemail when the instructions authorize it.
Inbound
Unlimited Reserve Plus answers one active reserved number
Inbound calls begin with a fixed recording disclosure, then use configured instructions plus global voice and personality settings. One optional external handoff number can be configured.
Live join
A person can join after a private consult
Post-join recording and transcription follow the account’s Record bridged conversations setting. Captured evidence may end at the bridge when that setting is disabled.
Evidence
Network outcome is not task success
Judge a real-world result only from the transcript evidence actually captured. Recording access is temporary and available only when a recording exists.
Disclosure
ClawCall says it is an AI when asked
When the person on the call asks whether they are speaking with a person, ClawCall confirms it is an AI calling on the account holder's behalf. Users cannot turn this off.

How many calls can run at once?

Every account places one outbound call at a time. Trial and Unlimited accounts use shared lines. A second call while one is running returns 409 concurrent_call_limit. Wait for the current call to finalize before placing the next. Anonymous callers share this limit per IP address. If all shared lines are busy with other accounts, the call does not start (number_pool_exhausted) and you retry shortly. Unlimited Reserve and Reserve Plus calls always use your reserved number, one call at a time (reserved_number_busy). On shared-pool calls, looping you in uses a second shared line while connected.

These values describe how the phone network and the call ended. Voicemail is behavior and transcript context, not a network outcome.

Hosted MCP and developer access

ClawCall is available as an official plugin in ChatGPT's plugin directory: ClawCall in ChatGPT. ChatGPT users install it from there, with no Developer mode, pasted URL, or OAuth configuration, and OpenAI dots use the same installed plugin. The listing does not imply an OpenAI partnership or endorsement.

The preferred path for other compatible AI hosts is the OAuth-protected remote MCP resource at https://api.clawcall.dev/mcp; REST and the agent skill remain supported fallbacks. It uses authorization code, PKCE S256, and Dynamic Client Registration. The host receives revocable tokens, not a ClawCall API key.

Current boundaries

United States +1 destinations and English-language calls only.
Not for robocalls, predictive dialing, or bulk/high-volume automated outreach or sales campaigns.
No current HIPAA, PCI, or SOC 2 attestation.
Reserve Plus inbound reception is one active reserved number, not a multi-line, multi-seat contact center or CRM platform.
Compatible-host availability can depend on plan, region, workspace policy, admin settings, and version.
